Felix is recommended if you would describe your horse as the following:
- Can be inconsistent in the connection.
- Do not actively seek contact towards the bit.
- Drops the bit/falls behind the hand.
Anatomically designed for comfort, Felix is a lightweight single-jointed bit with our unique Fager Smart System – FSS™. This innovative system is designed to lock the joint in any direction, in order to avoid any interference with the palate; thus avoiding the ‘nutcracker’ effect.
It creates the feel of a classic straight bit, yet with added flexibility. The design creates stability whilst ensuring free movement and comfort in the horse’s mouth through a well-balanced, horse-friendly bit which has proven to be greatly appreciated by sensitive horses.
Felix’s design is curved to create room and allow freedom for the tongue. A horse with a sensitive tongue will appreciate this innovative design and will be more accepting of the contact, creating a refreshed willingness to work.
Loose Baucher is a registered design by Fager. This sidepiece is designed to keep the mouthpiece steady, without the loose ring interfering with the mouth piece’s placement.
Loose Baucher is preferred if you have problems with wounds in the corners of the mouth or wear on the premolars (P2). The Loose Baucher will reveal these places from constant pressure and help the horse to relax.
